With Rivière, Jennifer Laracy extends her experimentation with silver and pāua shell, materials central to the practice of her grandfather, a maker of both fine and souvenir jewellery.
She honours and reimagines traditional jewellery forms, creating works of great sophistication—sometimes restrained, sometimes flamboyant, always elegant.★☆★The term rivière refers to a type of necklace, a ‘river of stones’.
