Gerard Dombroski holds a Master of Architecture (Professional) from Victoria University of Wellington Te Herenga Waka. He works as an architect, artist, and furniture-maker. Insights from the design and fabrication of objects feed into his architectural work and vice versa. His ‘Piccolo’ cabin, designed and built while in residence at Driving Creek, was longlisted in the small building category of the Dezeen Awards 2022. Recent exhibitions include The Chair, Objectspace, 2023–24; Cook & Company, Objectspace, 2023; and Home, Season, 2022.
